Our guest speaker for the inaugural session on August 4, 2021, is Patricia Martone, a renowned patent attorney, arbitrator, adjunct professor and currently a research fellow with multiple awards and many “firsts” – the first woman to make partner in a major patent law firm, trial partner in the landmark Polaroid v. Kodak case winning the largest patent damages award at the time, launching the first Asian practice at a major law firm, first woman and first openly gay woman to chair the Board of New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, and many more!
