The FBA SDNY Chapter has been awarded a very generous FBA Chapter Activity Grant in the amount of $1,200 to fund our upcoming Induction Ceremony on October 2, 2019 at the U.S. Courthouse!

We’ve partnered with Fordham Law School, through the generous support of Dean Toni Jaeger-Fine and her capable team, to help bridge the networking gap for Fordham’s LLM Students. Fordham has guaranteed $800 to fund 50 one-year FBA Student Memberships for their LLM student body. The Fordham-FBA LLM Student Challenge Grant will support the induction of new FBA LLM student members by Chief Judge Colleen McMahon, and fund the celebratory Induction Ceremony Reception at which the LLM students will become more familiar with the range of networking and law community leadership opportunities available to them within the FBA.

It is our legacy commitment to working with the U.S. District Court and our community partners, like Fordham Law School, that no doubt made this a strong application. A special thanks should be extended to Anthony Jones, Dominick Alcid and the entire FBA Chapter Activity Fund Team for working at lightening speed to pull off this challenge and fund our project!
