Clara Bergnier, LLM Fordham Law School

My name is Clara Bergnier. I am a French International Law and Justice LL.M. candidate at Fordham Law. I have always been intrigued with international fields, globalization, and foreign languages. It is at these crossroads where I focused my studies and chose to attend law school, specializing in European and international law. I have a particular interest in immigration law as well as international environmental law. In addition to my studies, I am actually working part-time as an immigration paralegal, and have the intent to keep working in this field upon graduation (December 2019). My ultimate goal would be to work at the United Nations in order to globally promote human rights and environmental issues.

My previous practice includes being the general counsel of the fixed income exchange of the Philippines as well as being a commercial law litigator for a law firm. I am very much interested in both private practice as well as NGO work.
